It started as Yotsugi Ginza Shopping Street right after the war, and was incorporated in 1989 as "Maerodo Yotsugi Shopping Street Promotion Association". The bronze statue of Captain Tsubasa (Tsubasa Ozora) was completed in March 2013. The first Saturday of every month is a triple points sale.
