"Our store was established in Fukagawa in the first year of Meiji era (1868) and has been operating in Shibamata since 1934. We have been in business in Shibamata since 1934. The "Ame Kiri Ondo" demonstration held on Sundays and holidays, except in summer, is designated as one of the "100 Best Sounds and Scenery in Japan" by the Ministry of the Environment.
The recommended candies are Sekitome candy with three kinds of medicinal herbs, Anko candy with soft homemade red bean paste, and Kinako candy with molasses made from Yonaguni brown sugar and Kinako kneaded together, which are the best-selling products, and the only candy specialty store on the approach to Shibamata Taishakuten."
